Utterly idiotic from both Morgan and Bairstow. Vince clearly cant hack it at this level as he as shown over and over either, rather open with moeen and strengthen the middle order or the bowling. That being said maybe its not as easy to bat out there as Finch made it look.

you might be right, it may not be that easy.

however we are a team, with the exception of Root, that smack the sheet out of it. it  works against average bowling, but does it work against a decent attack.

we always chase big scores, we just think we can get anything the oppo gets.

and yes we are missing Roy, he is quality and we don't have a replacement

I agree I don’t think it’s easy but:

Vince: looks for the lovely looking on drive 2nd ball when it’s humid and JB is a known swing bowler
Root: actually not a bad ball tbh
Morgan: fearless!!! Cricket ie reckless in the power play especially coming in 2 early wickets down
Bairstow: fearless!!! Again really

We seem to be unable to use any kind of approach except smack it mode regardless of situation.
1 wicket away from losing this game

200 off 30 odd overs is doable.. except we're 4 down and Lyon is ragging it...

Just needed to bat sensibly! Eh well! Two games left all hope not lost!
