Combining my opinion with an emphasis on the actual current selection here - e.g. Curran has to play in tests because they're obviously not going to drop him, and no daft ideas like Denly opening the batting or dropping Root
TEST TEAM:
1 Burns
2 Jennings
3 Bairstow
4 Root
5 Stokes
6 Buttler
7 Foakes
8 Curran
9 Archer
10 Leach
11 Anderson
Slight reservation over Curran as a bowling all-rounder as I'm not convinced he's quite got it with the ball at test level, but it's all going so well for him that who's going to be the one to drop him! Ali vs Bairstow a bit of a toss up so the incumbent gets in. Broad will be pissed off but that's probably a good thing.
ODI TEAM:
The first choice ODI side is basically set in stone, not difficult here. The 4 squad reserves for the WC would be Hales, Dawson and then two from Stone, Archer and Tom Curran.
1 Roy
2 Bairstow
3 Root
4 Morgan
5 Stokes
6 Buttler
7 Moeen
8 Woakes
9 Willey
10 Plunkett
11 Rashid
T20 TEAM:
1 Roy
2 Buttler
3 Root
4 Hales
5 Morgan
6 Stokes
7 Ali
8 Archer
9 Willey
10 Plunkett
11 Rashid
Don't think this is all that hard to pick either, the first choice side is very settled - I'm bringing Archer in for Jordan.
