Bas players were good. Mine are getting a little battered.

As always want to try something new. I think the SS feel way more premium than the BAS pads but didn't like the red colour. Sent them back now. As I'm waiting on unbranded pads from OLS.

Still like my BAS pads but looking for a change... who knows I may come full circle and just get another pair of BAS pads... :s
So in terms of comfort, would you rate sa higher than bas players

:( I don't k or anymore... I'm the worst person to ask about pads... after digging my BAS pads out yesterday I remembered why I bought them... they are very light...and comfortable  but SS seem better materials wise..
 :(  I'm pretty confused myself...

Send me both your pads to evaluate. I will keep whichever is better.

UPDATE: Got delivery from OLS - Order spot on and not messed up - even modified my order via whatsapp. So no complaints here.
1 pair of unbranded pads £25
1 pair of SS DHoni 7 in BAS Players style £28
Shipping £23
Total: £76

Pads:
Very good value for money and rather nice but not in the same quality in comparison to the SS Test Openers and my BAS Players Edition. Although if OLS do not mess up your order they are exceptional value for money, and I do like them. I haven't gotten around to weighing them yet. Will try and do later and update this post. I think I've gone through the new pads drama and have decoded I am using my BAS pads. Unsure what I am doing with these unbranded pads just yet but may end up in the sales section.

Gloves:
Really liking these gloves. Lighter than the BAS gloves but I think the BAS gloves have better protection. Not going to affect me playing Sunday league cricket. Indian size so small but prefer them as I have small hands and is a good fit for me. Def keeping these alongside the BAS gloves I already have. Would def buy these again, however only worth it if you are buying other stuff from OLS, as postage would negate any cost value benefits. Id just buy the BAS gloves from a UK retailer to be practical as you can get them circa £40 in the UK.

Another bump for legends here!!

I used some last night in nets. As you all know, I’ve been through my fair share of pads so I know what feels good on the legs...

I have to say, they were by a country mile the most comfortable pads I have ever worn! You can see why they are so popular.

Bravo Gray Nics.... Bravo!

Yet another vote for GN Legends: picked some up off here a couple of years ago, and they're mega. Great quality materials yet still lightweight - I did get a bruise through the pad, but that'd happen with any pad I'm sure. Oh, and we all know if you look good you play good... and they ooze class. The only downside is the cost...

Been using Surridge softs this year and I must say pads are as good as any if worn and that includes Legend pads, shame there stock has been so delayed but for £60 they have all the trimmings of £100+ pads

Kookaburra kahuna players for me. Bought them 2nd hand last year. Love them (apart from the odd squeak)

This is gonna be a new one here but there is a company in Jalandhar called KayGee sports. I like their both the top two offerings with two straps. Yes they are a cheaper knockoffs of Morrants (as every other two strap pad is). I also like BDM’s titanium pad which is another 2 strap light weight pad. Virender Sehwag used to use both these pads in the early oats of his ODI career before he moved to Morrants finally. If you have money and you don’t mind adding a little more foam to the pads yourself, Morrants are the best.

Ravi Bopara GM two strap pads from quite a while back.

These were perfect.
