Other than sanding unfortunately theres no other way to get it off. U can maybe hide it by putting some tape or stickers over it

You could gently sand the stamping out if you  don't want a  slight dip  where the stamping  are sand either side of the stamping blending the sanding into the edge.

Could it be bleached off or something similar, you'd obviopusly strill have the indented area but it'd be less visable without narrowing your bat :)

If you take it to a joinery workshop, or to a batmaker, they could skim it off with their planer/thicknesser. That way you can take of 0.1mm or whatever at a time, evenly, and keep the the loss of width to a minimum. I use such a machine to get my bats down to exactly 108mm and as long as the blades are sharp it should leave a very smooth finish.

It's not  that easy to skim an edge with a planer also you have to skim from both toe and shoulder to prevent ends chipping.

It's true there's a risk whatever you do but I've not had any trouble with the thicknesser personally. You would just set it to 107.9mm or whatever and slot the bat in, then reset yo 107.8 and run the other side through.

Or perhaps apply some water resistant paint in the timber tone.

My last match bat lasted 4 seasons and by the end, I had managed to edge the ball enough times to remove the stamping on the inside edge.

Some tape with a color that is close to the willow color is the best bet. Moreover,  that would make you would look like a pro  :D
Not a fan of shaving off width at that point even if it is just 0.1 mm as that is usually where the sweet spot is and psychologically you don't want to feel you have less width there...
