Don`t get me wrong as have highest opinion of Brand and quality, their quality doesn`t come cheap, obviously, but this forum offer smacks of offering cheap crack in a Brooklyn park at night !
Maybe now i`m a cynical southerner(tho half Yorkie by blood !),but i`d prefer rrp and wholesale prices to drop across their range instead of gimmicky offers like this,as i find Kippax very very expensive !

IMHO

I was actually going to contact Kippax about this and see if they allow folk to pop down to pick some up and decide, then see if other forumers wanted to join/me to pick them out a bat. 😁

I would be very tempted by a visit to pick cleft/bat Chad.

I don't actually believe this is a forum offer bud, it was never advertised on here.

I don't actually believe this is a forum offer bud, it was never advertised on here.

Forum offer or not I kind of understand the point @frontfootdrive2 was trying to make.

If you set the RRP high then give offers such as this (RRP £340 per bat down to £200 each is almost 42% off) regularly it does raise eyebrows. It's something a large chain retailers get regularly slated for.

If you make a decent margin on 10 bats for £2,000, I suppose there's an argument you could make the same margin on 1 bat at £200, but in this case it's an economy of scale. (Would you sell more bats at £200 than £340 to make up for the profit margin per unit?)

As for Kippax's offers, you can decide yourself if they're value for money or not. The raw figures however are:

10 bats
RRP £3,400. Price £2,000
£1,400 or 41.18% saving off RRP

5 bats
RRP £1,700. Price £1,250
£450 or 26.47% off RRP

Bat, pads & gloves bundle
RRP £490. Price £400
£90 or 18.38% off RRP

Bat, pads, gloves & bag bundle
RRP £560. Price £450
£110 or 19.42% off RRP

Regardless of RRP by manufacturers and wether I believe prices are crazy, this is still a good offer and potentially worth looking at.
