85 all out

Whats the odds were facing a 250 run deficit and lost by an innings and 50?

I am tired of us being undone by old dibbly dobbler crap. Will we ever learn?

Ireland’s best chance is if Stirling hammers a rapid fire 50

You can’t pick two spinners then field first.

But that then raises another question doesn't it.

Naming the side the  early on the day before and then playing 2 spinners on a pitch like this.

Should Gregory have played instead of Leach?

It is very hard to learn such lessons. Don't forget the excitement factor: no body likes to prepare for boring and slow "dibbly dobbler".

All this tells me that international cricketers are not special and a good club cricketer could undo their arrogance. :D Fitness could be a problem though.

When’s the notion that Moeen’s ‘an all rounder’ stop? Moeen’s averaging 22 with the bat since 2017. He’s no more than a tailender.

Well, if it's any consolation, the Aus batsmen aren't fairing much better with their internal match.  17 wickets for 201 runs at the end of the first day!

So the England bowlers watched Ireland dismantle us by bowling good to full length on 4th stump line and have responded by bowling back of a length or a 7th stump line... Just doesn't make sense.

We need to make someone else Test captain as it’s clearly hurting Root’s batting. Unlike Kohli, Smith(not anymore) and Williamson all three average more as captain - whereas Root’s average is 20% lower than as a non captain
