Never like to see a player hurt, but a great ball from Jofra. Looked nasty

Possibly the worst review I've ever seen

Yep, do not understand Roots captaincy here.  I would have Archer bowl 3/4 over full out every 12 to 15 overs

I hope Steve smith is ok here I really do don't like seeing players hit that hard

But... I did say he should be tested!

Yes hopefully smith is ok there's been short stuff on both sides so we have to use it the Aussies used the short ball well.

Archer has got some heat !!

Leach doing a decent job as well keeping it tight for the bowlers at the other end

It’s funny you pick a proper spinner whom is capable of giving the captain control, then the fast bowler can go through the gears. Moeen shouldn’t ever be selected over Leach again

I would guess considering the nature of the hit the team doctors would want to run some more thorough checks than time constraints would allow them to on the field of play.

Not a fan of Archer turning around and walking back to his mark laughing. Decent cricketer, seems to have failed a character check in this instance though. Credit to Jos for his concern though.

Like the concern the Aussies dish out whenever someone is hit!

Pot kettle black there mate

Not that I agree with it

If it's not turning that's what the spinner has to do. You have to be good enough to bowl it tight of course but that has to be the role of our spinner.

Panesar at his best did it well and of course Swann did it very well thru most of his career.

For the last few years, more specifically since Hughes, every time someone has been hit on the head, I would strongly argue that they make a point of checking if they are ok, most in world cricket do infact, I can't recall anyone else strutting back to their marks in stitches.

I'm sure Jofra isn't a bad guy, but I imagine he will look back at his reaction in years to come and think he could acted a bit differently

For all of Archer’s pace, it didn’t wield the clatter of wickets and the Aussies are inching towards parity - with the added caveat that Smith will probably still come out again

I agree since Hughes yes but thats getting less and less now even with Australia

Historically (and you can't ignore that) aus have been worse than anyone imo except maybe the west indies!
