Cummins and Hazelwood are usually fairly economical, I think Pattinsons extra pace will be a welcome addition.

Nothing wrong with changing up at the top of the order either in my opinion, Bancroft was just plodding about, Harris will play with a bit of flare, whether it comes off is another matter but it will be a welcome sight after watching Bancroft trying not to get out for two tests. To be fair, if England had the depth to be making changes with their batting, they would be as well.
Isn’t Harris a bit of a blocker?

Not particularly, fairly aggressive outside of the off stump off the front and back foot. uses his feet to the spinners. Anything feels aggressive in contrast to Bancrofts plodding though.

Interesting(or not), TMS stated that the concussion sub nominated by England for the last test was Sibley.

Maybe our cbf selection committee are thinking on the same lines as England’s........

Surely you don’t name a concussion sub until it happens?

TMS said England named a concussion sub for the entire side. But only mentioned that sibley was the one designated as a “top order replacement” on that list.

They was discussing if Australia could use smith this test if he was declared fit when it was needed. And mentioned that although the rules done state it needs to be named in advance England had named there replacements.

Seems like we’ve bowled too short for the conditions. There’s still plenty of movement when we drag the Aussies forward.

Last 10 overs 66 runs, combination of poor bowling and a good counter attack
