Quiet day on time forum, so here's some pictures of recent willow which has come through the workshop. Try to post more but time restraints means updating Socials takes priority! Random array of pics, bit hopefully enjoyable to nosey at. Amy questions, please ask away!

Thanks mate, appreciate that. Some lovely bats have gone out recently and some lovely ones in stock. The one with the blue stickers is under 2lbs 7oz! 🤯

Just want to give a quick shout to Jonny for the quality of refurb he's done on my Scott stick. Despite the mess I left it in at the end of the season he's got it back looking absolutely lovely - new stickers for this year are stunning as well. All done at a very reasonable price too!

Please let me know if this is allowed admins.....

One of our retail partners are looking for 20 or so cricketers willing to undertake a short 10/15 minute survey via video call, to gain their insight into bats and buying habits etc

Seem to remember there was talk recently of short blade bats and how they picked up etc in another thread. So decided to make one up with a 535mm blade and longer handle, inspired by one I made for @Jimbo, which i loved. This is the result, 2lbs 12oz with grip and feels very nice in the hands.....

Another stunner shaped up today from a heavier cleft and added blue stickers to the short blade from yesterday.

The one shaped today is my JS170 low profile, will be just over 2lbs 12oz fully dressed. Nice big edges though and max spine with just a couple of mm of concaving. Lovely grain structure on this one too...

Seen as the blue stickered one sold immediately, I decided to make another short blade today. Slight adjustments to the shape on this. Blended the spine into the toe a little more and just carried the swell a touch more through the middle towards the splice.

Will be 2lbs 12oz when finished up, nice size and feels really nice again in the hands. Think I'll bring one of these into the stock offerings as really like the feel, so would appreciate any feedback on the shapes.

Lovely shape mate and loving the square toe profile think personally it’s a great look, as for that shape as a stock offering looks like it will fit perfectly into your stable

Been really poor at updating things on here but this is a copy of a bat for @Jimmy Tiwana. Also rehandled and refurbed the older one.

I don't like posting pics until the bat's have been recieved, as feel the customer should see their shiny willow first before anyone else! 😁

Was a pleasure working on something at a heavy weight and getting the balance right without really worrying about scale weight too much. The only issue was that the first attempt was coming out too light, so had to select a heavier cleft and go again!

Was a pleasure doing this one for you @Jimmy Tiwana send hope it scores you plenty!

Finished over 3lbs, long handle.
