Inspired by the Chroma shape this one. Very grainy one, which is actually a Grade 2! Not the lightest cleft and some concaving, but not huge amounts. Might make this available for sale in the Batmakers Shed.

Thanks mate. Yeah it's a Travisher. I've got a couple in different styles, but this is a new one and the better of the two.

Grade 1 I've been shaping this evening. Could make its way into my bag unless it's snapped up. Will be around 2lbs 10oz finished...

Jeepers that’s lovely! What’s made this a grade 1 and that other grainy beauty you posted the other day a 2?

Thanks mate, appreciate that. This one feels so nice, its definitely a favourite shape now.

The Grade 2 in fairness could easily be a Grade 1, but does have more heartwood. However, I've seen a few bats since I've posted that which aren't as good looking and are graded as G1+!

No offence mate, but it's actually getting really annoying looking at this thread - I can't look at it without being massively impressed with every single bat you're making!

If I hadn't got 'The one' in my bag I'd be putting an order in pronto :)

😂🙏 Certainly no offence taken mate, really appreciate feedback like that! I love making bats, so just trying to keep it going and push it on. Still loads to pick up obviously, but feel I'm developing things all the time.

Custom G2 being shaped. Customer wanted something with minimal concaving, 2lbs 9oz - 2lbs 10oz with an oval handle, in a similar low/mid profile to the latest ones I've made. Just needs finishing. New sticker design coming for 2021 and if anyone follows my Instagram or Facebook, they'll have seen some sneak pics of a few other products coming too!
