First up my thoughts on the new wheelie duffle.
My hunt for "the perfect bag" has seen my try more Duffles and wheelies than I'd like to count. This is my first foray into the crossover world of wheelie Duffles.
My first impression was "wow, I like this material". Being "denim effect material" they look absolutely class and have a real sturdy, premium feel to them.
The colours are conservative enough they'll appeal to pretty much anyone, with the logo large yet not "in your face".
The second thing that struck me was just how much room this bag has. I put some gear in to see how much it can hold and there was plenty of room to spare once I'd loaded batting and keeping kit.
With a pocket on each side for your pads, 2 padded bat covers at the back, a shoe tunnel and a front pocket there is plenty of room for kit and clothing.
The back of the bag and the straps have plenty of padding meaning comfort while carrying. Another small but genius touch is the pocket to tuck the straps into while wheeling the bag.
Overall I'm highly impressed with this. The material feels premium, the build quality is excellent and the design really utilises all the space available in the bag. While it's not small, it's not huge. Being a wheelie duffle it also stands up meaning it won't take up too much floor space in a dressing room.
While not cheap at £89.99, bags have gone up in price over the last few years. You're paying the going rate for a bag and getting an excellent product. As far as I'm concerned if you're after a new bag you can't go wrong with a neon wheelie duffle!
