There’s a little variation between them all but 2.8 - just under 2.10.

It would certainly be a tight fit in the gauge if I had one, I just had a rummage through the numerous bat bins and stumbled across it. Couldn’t believe my luck 😊

Are all regular length blades?

2 Keeley sticks that I've settled for this season. Both shorter blade, longer handle combo.

White
Grade 1, 2.11, mid-middle, 19mm toe (25mm centre), 37mm edge, 55mm spine height, 13mm shoulder. Lovely bat, was surprised how soft they are (first time using Keeley) and shot myself in the foot slightly after getting it for a bargain price (£120!) I dug out a yorker at the weekend and there's a small crack in the centre of the toe however think/hope it's just superficial. My fault for being inpatient with the knocking in!

Burgundy
Grade 1, 2.11.5, mid-middle, 22mm toe (29mm centre), 39mm edges, 59mm spine height, 17mm shoulder. Another ebay purchase, brand new. Bought not really concentrating as it was a great price for a grade 1. I purchased and the seller messaged after saying it was one of Alzarri Joseph's...Didn't really think much of this to be honest and took it with a pinch of salt, however it arrived and I can believe him!! Absolutely huge higher up the bat, very thick shoulders and although the centre of its not the biggest it's a lot bulkier than the white one all the way tip to toe....ridiculously light pickup too. Was absolutely over the moon when it came, used in a net but still needs knocking in, makes that proper shot gun style sound when you connect. Can't wait to use.

Also have another with NHS decals, Superior shape thats brand new (which I love), but unfortunately it's standard length and I just prefer these SB/LH blades.

Is the handle any thicker on the one that is supposedly a player's bat? My one big issue with Keeleys is the super skinny handle.

Yes I agree completely, that's one thing I found slightly odd moving towards them this year, it's about 3mm wider so less oval but feels more like a normal handle IMO.

The Keeley I've got I ended up with 3 grips on it to get it to feel similar to my other bats. Interesting that one supposedly done for a player has a thicker handle.

Is it a way to keep it's price down?

They're still top quality handles so I don't see how it could be.

To keep the weight down I guess.

Gosh, that just take some effort or maybe it’s my bad grip applying technique that often struggles to get two grips on!

I use three as a standard and haven't found any particular issue if the first two are chevron grips

Heavier bats with thin handle needs more grips to adjust...

Yes, correct. But manufacturers don't have to sell it as "2lb 9oz with 40mm edges, oh but you will want to add some grips and a counterbalance".

Keeley bats have always had thin handles. I don't suppose for one minute that it is anything to do with cheating the scales or keeping costs down.

Why not?
I never have held one, so wouldn't know, but for bigger bats using thin handle, will definitely effect balance and Pickup.
3 or 4 grips are only useful for big lads with big hands etc
It's okay if you're happy with it...
