Cheers @Six Sixes Cricket but all sorted for scuff now and was looking to see if anyone knew what the toe guards were which are used on Lavers specifically, but thanks again for the offer.

@jimmy23 I've been using a roll of this for a few years now and I rate it as some of the best fibre facing you can get!

Before you apply it it's best to give the face and edges of the bat a quick rub with some fine sandpaper to remove any residual glue, wax, oil or polish.
A hairdryer may also help it stick but I've never found that to be necessary

Was your roll from this same supplier?
Sanded it before I applied as I always do.
Tried it twice to no avail but as soon as I put a clear helicopter scuff on it stuck no problem.

@jimmy23 yeah I got mine from Directa too.

I bought one of those rolls of fibreglass  scuff sheet, two 50m rolls of bat tape and a few rolls of grip tape that was 8 or 9mm wide, thought all of the stuff I got from them was decent quality

Anyone bought their clear anti scuffs, 30 for 25m seems a bit too good to be true.

I've got one but I didn't find it that great, it was quite thick and ripped easily compared to the helicopter scuff sheets.

@Kulli I had a roll of their clear and it's effectively a very wide roll of tape. It wasn't the best quality as any impact to the edge (I tested this extensively) tended to lead to rips in the scuff sheet.

New batch turned up today, I opted for a matte finish as once of you can hardly notice it’s even been applied. “Gloss” on the bat on the left v new “matte” version on the right.

Received mine the other day Tom, thanks.

Not sure if its gloss or matte, but I'm happy either way. Just got to get on with servicing some bats now.

Matte mate, practically invisible once fitted which I quite like personally 👍

Excellent. If I had to choose then I'd have gone for that, as seen in your picture above.

I do have a bit left. Can get more when I get my self sorted hopefully in the coming months

Suspect it’s similar to what Tom has
