I'm with you there Mr.Cricket - There are probably hundreds of thousands of attractive asian women who know a hundred times more about cricket than any of us on this forum, and they decide to pick the only one who knows nothing.....smart move ITV.

I still think she is better than Matt Smith, who just sits there looking as if he has a carrot up his backside

Anyone saying the Mongoose should be banned is nuts, it does not break any law and does not threaten to impact as much as carbon handles did. I understand the MCC reasons for banning carbon as they had the capacity to hit the ball further but not have seen anything since that falls into this bracket. Unless the Joker has some sort of one bat test results to say 1,000,000% more power!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good to see Hayden helping himself at the Buffet today, those DFL maximums will help a meaningless stat record, how many so far in 11 matches? 120+?

Bopara run out, "cold blooded!"

Is there a way of making a round handle oval? perhaps by adding tape under the grip?
I've got a new bat and the handle is a lot smaller than I first thought.

I have sort of done this using strips of padded tape (from the elastoplast section at Boots) on the handle and then a half grip over the top. not going to win any awards, but serviceable

Because some think it should be banned due to the added power. I get the odd email saying we're ruining the 'spirit of the game' some can't even believe it's legal.

I bet these are traditionalist people who hate change. I prefer other bats but the MMi deffinately has it's place in cricket and rightly so!
