Once you get picked for Mumbai(Rohit play for Mumbai in the Ranji) you're almost certain to play for India.

Wasim Jaffer, domestic giant, international failure. Vinod Kambli, the same genius as Sachin(if not more), burnt out. Rohit's getting the Mumbai charm now.

Not all players from Mumbai are bad though...

Anyone heard of Praful Waghela, he played against England in a warm up match a few years ago. He's friends with our overseas player and plays for Keynsham. In India he plays for Mumbai I think.
