Couple of things: 1. practice leaving wide balls instead of swinging at them. It's a handy skill in a game situation. 2. Have a plan for your practice - for example, working on your front foot drives and defending or leaving everything else.

I liked the bowler celebrations when they finally got you out, but could be kind of annoying in a match... Still glad I can't understand the audio commentary
To be honest I hate playing T20. I like 50 overs and love Test. We play 50 overs currently 3rd League. My average is really sh#t I think 13 or 14. Need to check that again.
I'm guessing you are going at the straight ball too aggressively in the match situation then. But you are above my league anyway.
