For past many days, other than walking, I just couldn't get myself to do anything physical or fitness related. Weather is cold as well. So, today, I dusted off my old trusty kettle bells, and swung three sets of kb swings - a light workout considering my sensitive back. It went well. I will increase the intensity as the days go by. Fingers crossed.

What are you doing to stay physically fit in this period of social distancing.

In the UK we are allowed out of the house once a day for exercise. I take the dog for a walk (my wife uses her allowance for his other daily walk).
I have mostly been doing weights (three way split), rowing machine and bowling in the garden, to keep active.
Fortunately the weather is bright and warm here. I don't expect that will last much longer, and then we will start to feel rather more claustrophobic.

^ Funny you should ask...:D

For some reason, I can't find my old posts when I search for them using keywords. So I am adding pound-keyword combo to ease futuro searches.

Cycling for me, some indoors on Zwift and some outdoors. Weather's been lovely here so good to make the most of it!

I'm doing a minimum of 5k a day, 2 days walking 4 days running and 1 day off.

Also doing a circuit called the 300 4 times a week which is a
20 squats
20 push ups
20 walking planks
20 burpees
20 sit ups

With 1 min of high knees after each set of 20

Repeat 3 times for 300 reps

I'm running 9 to 12k about 4 times a week. I try and include some sprints over short distances to keep my pace good. This is something I usually do out of season anyway. I don't find I can maintain it over the summer as my legs get fatigued /injured if I'm also playing twice a week.

Not much upper body work apart from some throwing and hitting a cricket ball on a string. Might try and mix in some circuits and dynamic yoga (which is actually the toughest work out of all for me...anyone else find that?)

Took my bicycle out...a little nippy (59 F/15 C), close to no traffic. Fun ride.

I found an old Insanity dvd collection. Tried the fitness test, takes 30 mins, 8 activities, I could only do 6 🙄.

So I'm doing some sit ups, press ups and squats I. Sets and keeping a track of how many I'm doing. Just trying to build up each day. See where I am after. Week. Only on day 3.

I've done Insanity and T25, the best way I've found of stripping fat quickly (along with a sensible diet). Its difficult at the start, but I'd stick with it as it is a good workout to do from home imo.

Yeah definitely mate! Although you can just do the parts when you can and rest if needed, you'll be surprised the progression you'll make if you're strict with diet etc as well.

Good luck with it whatever you do. Anything is better than nothing!

I have been drinking a lot of beer and eating everything I can get my hands on.

I'm aiming to come out of this spherical.
