Does 6 passes mean you're using lighter pressing machine than others,
as I've seen that max is 3, what they've shown.

Think what you're referencing is a 3 stage pressing process. This is different to how many passes it has at each stage of pressing process.

Each press will put the same level of forces through a cleft, which is controlled by turning the roller down further onto the cleft.

Think you are right Jonny! Should have mentioned the difference between stages and passes.

Lovely set up you got there mate and great to see you pressing your own clefts is wasn’t aware you did that part. Also great to see the set up and business expanding to a bigger workshop and more tools, looks like it’s all go for yourself and Jonny with new premises and even myself with a move from the garden shed to a proper garage workshop.

Be keen to see the new tools when they arrive buddy.

Another one shaped up today. This is the bat from the pressing video.

A beauty of a G3 that is available for sale.

I forgot to mention that all of the above are available for sale!

Also, got this in for a refurb a few days ago, it was the owners late fathers, and he was desperate for it to be repaired, I doubt it will ever be usable again, and I have told him that, but he wants it back to decent condition for the memories.

Crikey.... Now that's a refurb  :o

Now we are heating up....
2nd workshop space now all finished, and I’ve started shifting the machinery in. We’ve got a table plane, spindle moulder, and a bandsaw arriving soon, and then got 2 great sanders on their way too.

Hi mate.

Would you please be able to talk me through the handle saw you have? Did you make this yourself or can you buy them?

Thanks very much.

Hey mate,

We had the blade saw (heavy duty one on the left) fabricated by an engineer - it’s a converted masonry saw I think, which means we don’t get an blade bounce like you do with a bandsaw.

The one on the right is a mitre saw that’s been mounted. Both on them have bolts that dictate the cutting angle, and these can obviously be adjusted as needs be. If you need any more info drop me a pm.

Cheers,
Jake

I would concur that that probably isn't reusable!

I remember Cork and Crawley both using Peak Sports in test matches

Shaped this up today for our raffle winner:

This will be 2.9.5/2.10 fully finished and completely fills the gauge more or less.

A lovely stick with, in my opinion, a great shape.
