You measure coke in grams and ounces.
Well, that's what Mr Hales told me anyway

Apologies, he sounds like he's done 453.6 grams of coke  ;)

Not sure why people have to be such kill joys! We should commend the commentators for trying to induce a sense of excitement into a game played in an empty stadium. KP's comments would not seem so out of place if the game was being played in a packed Chinnaswamy stadium instead...

We should be glad to be able to view live cricket in such tough times. Instead we choose to ridicule things! Unbelievable!

There's plenty of commentators who do that in an informed, interesting way without sounding hysterical about minor events in a game.

If you think KP is bad, Swann is far far worse on the IPL post game shows. Absolute clown

Agree, people are entitled to their opinion and what they like/dislike, but to be able to watch IPL during these times is really a blessing IMO compared to not having one at all. Some of the games this year have been mind blowing (mi vs kxip maybe one of the best t20 ever). I feel sometimes there is too much focus on the 1% negatives, if any, compared to the 99% excitement the games bring.

That depends on how mischievous you feel.

I’d wager it’s one of Dhawans Kooks

So you are quite possibly correct

Wonder why these guys use non-GN bats even after being sponsored by GN. I assume they would get SK made GNs which would be among the best, if not the Indian made GNs. Or maybe the sponsorship only says they need to use GN stickered bats, and they are free to use any bat as long as stickers are right?

Maybe just maybe... because all the best bat makers are not just found in Australia and the UK. Most of the sub continent batmakers including those in India have family roots back in Sialkot before partition. Which means some of the batmakers on the sub-continent have been making bats in their families at least since 1948. I remember as a youngster having curved CA bat and it was laughed at as all the English brands had straight blades.. and now everyone is curving bats...

I'd also imagine the sheer volumes of willow purchased by the like of SS and SG means they end up with more of of the top end willow... I'm sure players use bats from all over... if you were a pro.. I am sure you would want to try bats from everywhere...

If I ever visit India or Pakistan, I would love to visit the factories there and pick out a bat. That would be a great adventure!

Or maybe just maybe Melbourne have only just come out of months of lock down and he needed something quick, given Dhawan lives in Melbourne I wonder who makes his bats?
