Another failure for Sibley. Good ball though.

Sam Northeast to Yorkshire didn't get much press attention! Smart signing given he's unlikely to get an England callup it seems - Yorks quietly building a tidy top order.

Think he is a quite a useful bowler this lad, England should probably have a look at him.  ;)

Tough conditions for the batters against the new ball lately but Anderson has cleaned up Kent all on his own.
Kent have been mighty poor this year so far.

Yep, they have a really poor squad. They get away with it in white ball cricket as they have a few biffers who can paper over the cracks. However, other than Crawley, Cox, Denly, Billings, Stevens and occasionally DBD I think the rest are barely county standard. Awful bowling lineup.

I have kept an eye on the Kent results as I have a friend who plays there(just retired due to injury actually) but they seem to be one of the Counties that have so little money they cannot attract any big names.

DBD,Cox, Billings all seem to be underachieving and have done for a while. there's a lot on the shoulders of Crawley,Denly. At least they have Stevens who can only be described as a legend.  :)

Yep, they are absolutely skint. I reckon they would build high rise flats all around the ground if they could, just to relieve the pressure a little.

As far as I'm aware it's a two game deal at the minute, with a number of counties after him.

Banton might end up being the new Billings. One of the best drinks carriers in the business.
