Yet another physical incident in the league today AND more sledging and verbals all through the innings which ultimately lead up to the physical incident.
Verbals through the game (Not really needed/warranted or adding anything to the game)
Player trapped LBW (Stone dead)
Player begins to walk off
Player told to ''F Off you Mug' (Level 2 ban for a send off)
Player seen to then turn around in reaction
BATSMEN then pushes a player (lvl 4 ban for physicals)
Fielder charges in (no business charging in) aggressively shouting 'F OFF' and pushing and shoving (lvl 2 ban and potentially more for the physicals)
Batting capt runs on straight at the batsmen
Fielding capt does nothing
1) Send off's really do need to be eliminated
2) Verbals on the field caused in the end things to boil over and someone to 'crack'.. It really is an amateur game , not some pro level stuff so just needs cutting out
3) Physical violence (and yes, just a simple push is that) is and should be massively banned (sadly, the other incident in teh same league the lad got away with 3 games for an 'attempted' head butt.. only getting away with it as he faile dot be any use and didn't connect.
4) the reaction both physically and verbally of the fielder is totally uncalled for. Stay out of it. that's violence and abusive language yet again
5) Fielding capt was missing but failed to control his team (sledging), fialed to control the bowler (send offs) and then failed to control his team when crap broke out (said player running in, pushing, aggressive and shouting)
6) batting capt running on couldn't do much but even so.. sadly, your player did something so should also get a small ban
question is.. this is not an isolated incident.. it's literally the second high profile incident in the same year, in the same league.. question is, how many others are there going un-reported ?? How much verbals and sledging is being let slide by capts and umpires..
Luckily this is all on camera so no one will get away with it
