Just trying out my luck...

Trying to sort out 2 clubs, one for Saturdays and one for Sundays, to get to play as much!

After all these lockdowns, Level of interest in cricket is rocketed sky-high!
My club only have one Sunday team while availability is 20-25!
Want to play on Sundays as atm I can, contacted clubs, one said only T20 is available, others I've been waiting responses by Thursday.
Will have to pay 2x subs and match fees, but hopefully that will be worth the money.

If you're looking for a club a few bits of key information may help...
  • where are you based (and how far you're willing to travel)
  • what standard are you looking to play
  • what do you anticipate your role in the side to be

All true,
Saturday club is like 20 minutes walking distance, Sunday one, looks like to be a train ride, looking to face competitive sides

So where are you based AJ?
How far are you able to/willing to travel for a game?

Are you a batsman, bowler, or specialist fine leg?

What level of cricket are you looking to play?
No point signing up for a premier League side if you play dividing 38 (or vice versa).

We're trying to help you here, but you won't even help yourself by providing the basic information...

@Batoff, it's been done mate 😀
Thinking on long term not only for current season.
Actually I've played against their Sunday 1st XI twice, previously and had good bowling figures and few runs.
A long time ago I took a catch at long fine leg 🙂

See the first post was just a statement of fact more than a request, I assume AJ is using the forum as some sort of diary for his thoughts
