Still got the other big name under wraps although nothing put to paper there yet!

50p says Andrew Symonds is next...

Tom - genuinely hope the 20/20 tournament goes well for you boys, Hayden was a good choice in my opinion.
I picked up on this on the cricketnext site.....

"Since there is no splice, the sweet spot is increased by 120 per cent," he said........does Fernandez even know his own product???
I know he is probably indicating the blade has no visible splice, but it makes it sound like a spliceless bat which it isnt.

Wonder how the small goose would be doing the scoop over the head shot?

I'm sure it would be the same played with a standard bat and with a mongoose.....perhaps you can buy one and try it out :D

Doubt the join is any weaker - the bond to the wood would be the same.....just less wood around the splice area thats all....there might be more pressure on the splice but this is something they would have tested before shipping the product out.

There's a few thousand bats out there and not a single handle has broken yet. Touch wood.

Blimey!!!! Just been on the website, looked at the MMI3 Custom Superior - knocked in and personalised for £364.......bit steep for my liking!!! I guess mongoose have put themself in the same bracket as the Pumas, Kooks, GM and GN's with regard to pricing.
