« on: January 16, 2022, 03:18:25 PM »

Just received it to add to my kit for this year.
It weights 2lb 7oz.

How much did you get it for?

Indoor nets haven't even started and I've changed my mind about twelve times as to which bats out of the (ever growing) collection are going in the kit bag for this season.

Only decision for sure is that the heavier bats will probably be confined to midweek T20s as I'm trying to force myself to play properly this year and make a proper go of batting further up the order.

For sure, it looks like 2lb 9oz but genuinely weight 2lb 7oz.
You can call it a genuine bargain! 👍

Hahaha Jim, I'm sure you're gonna rethink on the weight thing! Preferably 2oz lighter 😀😀

Just for comparison, Vapour is bigger bat than Predator.
One thing is common, they both have large hitting area, being low middle bats, which I think is going to be very useful here up in North weather and wickets.

Such a shame you’ll never use the middle of them batting at 11 @AJ2014  ;)

No new kit this year. That's at least the goal. Cov years have lead to a bit too much kit laying around.

Am just waiting for a delivery before I can take my kit pictures...
Although nothing massively exciting.

My son now has better kit than me!

As it should be 😅 I'm sat with 6 bats and more ordered, meanwhile my old man (if he ever gets fit enough to play again) uses a Gray Nics from before I was born.

I feel that pain.
I have just started coaching hockey again and my stick is older than the kids I am coaching... 😭 I had bought a stick more recently, but my son pinched it.

That's the whole point of buying new bats, massively exciting!
This is actually our time of life, to buy bats etc, if you know what I mean...
