Surprising call from Aus to bat again with such a huge lead!

Australia race to 81 off 17 overs. Lead is already 489. Slog another 80-100 then chase the win.

Totally out of the blue, we’re now in for a thrilling day 5, with all three results on the table

Agreed - great day of test cricket. The partnership between Shafique and Babar - and that over from Cummins at the end with the new ball man that was as good as it gets!

At time of writing Pakistan need 251 off 61 remaining overs.

Babar currently 134 not out and Alam just come to the crease.

Game on! All results still possible.

Would love to see Pakistan pull it off with Babar still at the crease

The new ball is pivotal here. Cummins and Starc lethal with that in hand.

Do they see it out for the draw or go for the win?

This was AUS' match to win. They missed some chances.

Australia’s fielding was pathetic. It’s all good and well Marnus continually sledging the opponents but then he drops straightforward opportunity at bat pad.
And I still don’t understand why the follow on wasn’t enforced. We Aussies are still crying over Eden Gardens some 20 odd years ago smh.
We are becoming bottlers:
Headingley 2019
Sydney 2021
Brisbane 2021
Sydney 2022

Third test in Lahore and finally a pitch that seems to have something in it. Staying slightly low and big reverse swing.
Australia 391 - fifties for Khawaja, Smith, Green and Carey. Could’ve got 400-450 had someone got a hundred
4 wickets a piece for Naseem and Shaheen. Naseem very impressive. Pakistan possibly missed a trick not selecting Haris Rauf as Hasan Ali was pretty poor.
Australia probably regret not having a third front line seamer.

A masterclass in reserve swing bowling by Patrick Cummins as Australia are pushing the issue late on day 3. Maiden 5WH in Asia for Cummins.

Pakistan crumbles from 214-2 to 268! Madness spells from Cummins and Starc. Lead is 123. I’d be happy to set them 350

^ Crumbled indeed! Good bowling by team AUS on day 3. That's home ground for some of the Pak batsmen. Result is likely.
