yet again im not shocked that YJB got out early, his performances only seem to come when hes been dropped and has something to prove. if he wasnt out between bat and pad every innings it would be less irritating to watch but theres no confidence in him. its got to be time that we moved on from constant failures and bloated ego, there are players scoring runs week in week out that need to be given a chance.

While I feel a bit for Bairstow coming into a series like this undercooked, surely this is the time to give Brook his shot.

Moronic from Potts. Doesn't seem to have much awareness with the bat

Surely if you're in that situation you just keep running and sacrifice yourself?

Well that was quick! England could have been in a very commanding position here but now have given a small lead to NZ.

What brilliant fielding from Pope and Stokes, one handed pickup on one of the rough bumpy side pitches and a very impressive no-look runout from Stokes.

Great fielding that and a couple of given away wickets will make an interesting day tommorow.
Pitch might just be doing a bit more now thou so both teams have a chance

Getting them out to this mildly average short stuff is kind of funny

I'm not so much annoyed that Brook didn't play as that Bairstow did.

About time this forum put some respect on Bairstow's name. 3 hundreds in 2022.
