Had a pair of pads I'd sold a few months ago and the stitching along the strap had come loose. Customer asked what could be done, i just replaced them FOC and took his pads back. Maybe I'm too lenient, but i want people to be happy and not have to haggle if there's an issue. 3 - 6 months, a year later etc is different, but a month or two in really isn't an argument imo

Exactly the way to do it mate, things like this are the reason you'll still be going strong in 5 years time - customer service/loyalty is so important in such a crowded market.

I know most others would do this too. Was just trying to highlight what is standard practice imo. Mistakes happen and issues arise, but can easily be sorted as long as it's sensible.

The saga continues, M&H finally agreed to pay the postage for the pads back, sent me a returns label and said take it to the Post Office. Obviously the label didn’t work and they wanted £16 to post them back for the express 24 service it was set for.

Rang them back and they told me to pay it and they’ll refund me it. Call me sceptical but things haven’t ran smoothly so far!

What does the law say? It seems to me that the customer has been sold an item that, for whatever reason, is not fit for purpose.

Sent the pads back with a note in saying please could you refund.

Received no response or message, just checked my bank and they have refunded me the money.

Although I got the result I wanted some kind of acknowledgment would have been good. Will probably never use them again after this, which is a shame given they market themselves as such a premium brand.
