Its not a puma lol But please be more understanding... If he says it has test rebound qualities then thats fine.
He bought 2 grips and 3 sets of stickers from GCCC... it set him back £90 odd pounds after postage and import tax!!!!

Why post a lie???

Why not say that you like the AS bats and the Puma stickers. And AS over dry their bats so they do ping well but crack up far too quickly.

I didn't post a lie mate I told these ppl on msn that I was goin to resticker my AS v3 most of them know this was AS v3.
Talisman I dont think AS over dry their bats these v3 bats are made of players grade light premium quality Eng Willow clefts. I've used this bat for 4/5 matches and have made two 50s it hasn't cracked up yet when i removed the extratec it had very light surface cracks along the grains.
The profile does looks huge wid puma stickers on it I've compared it to kooka big kahuna 2.13 my v3 is almost twice as thick and 4/5 oz lighter.

Majid, I don't think that they are over dried, I know they are. They dry the bats to far less than 14% moisture to ensure a big shape for the weight. This will cause the bats to break quicker than the standard clefts. If you had ever had a player cleft then you would know that they are very light, very light and very rare. All this player grade stuff is silly, nice grains are a start but air dried willow is essential. And why do you want to always put other stickers on your bats, if they are test player grade, extra exclusive ultra rebound 110% pinging over sized monsters then why not keep the makers logos on the bats?

Why don't we cut the personal attacks and let a player get on with what he does the way he likes to do it.

I gave a piece of advice to a batmaker recently about how to brand a bat and one of the points I made was that there are so many stickers available to people that in the end who really knows who is using what.

Frankly it is about time prominant manufacturers of cricket equipement (and other sporting equipment) acted the part and protected their brand names rather than fostering this illicit trade that you yourselves demand be stopped in certain other others. A name sticker on a no name bat is just as much an offence as a name sticker on a fake pair of running shoes. Oh and frankly just for a little information a lot of cheap 'fake' product is a heck of a lot better than the so called 'name' brands.

Big manugfacturers of so called sporting goods are allowing the blurring of trade mark useage for their benefit when they profit by it but their actions reduce the effectiveness of trade marks in all areas. If you are not prepared to properly protect them at all times get off your soap box, changes are coming.
