Looks like any other CA bat really, just in-keeping with their usual branding. I'm not sure I see it as any real commercial loss to GN to be honest, wouldn't be a move I would've made even if I had the budget.

He's a lovely guy, it's been a good challenge working alongside him to get his bats how he wants.

Sad to see him leave, but that's what happens in this business. Not everyone is a one brand player, Babar is now up to 4, he's certainly not at Samit Patels levels of switching yet.....😁

Not surprised! He clearly knows what he wants specs-wise, and you've done a stellar job for him in recent years Alex - he prob picked up a large batch of willow prior to the big reveal! Then doing a woodworm job to keep the new bosses happy!  :D - we should let him know that Kohli is all out of sandpaper though!

Think its easier to use an existing bat as a reference point, so any tweaks are easier to explain.

PS Another video Pakistan Female International showing the CA factory start about 6:02. Its in urdu but really shows the scale of the CA factory. I never realised how big the CA factory is, I know MB Malik has multiple sites.

Manufacturing clothing, pads, gloves, tennis balls and even bat grips inhouse. Pretty impressive. Not many other brands in Pakistan come anywhere near.
