Never liked the branding of CA bats, bat will be made by his go-to batmaker (ahem, no change there then?😂) so it will just be the cosmetics that will be different.

Go to batmaker being Alex?

Not the best looking design…

Looks like any other CA bat really, just in-keeping with their usual branding. I'm not sure I see it as any real commercial loss to GN to be honest, wouldn't be a move I would've made even if I had the budget.

He's a lovely guy, it's been a good challenge working alongside him to get his bats how he wants.

Sad to see him leave, but that's what happens in this business. Not everyone is a one brand player, Babar is now up to 4, he's certainly not at Samit Patels levels of switching yet.....😁

Barbar once again demonstrating that age old truth, if you get a new bat you will score more runs.
(sorry Alex 😂)

He's clearly a lurker on here and has taken on the sound sentiments of CBF.

Thanks to Alex we already know he's fussy enough to have specific bat specs, he'd fit right in 😂

I think there is a strong chance at least one of his CA bats is one of mine it's probably very thin by now to get the edge branding out 🤣🤣🤣

Not surprised! He clearly knows what he wants specs-wise, and you've done a stellar job for him in recent years Alex - he prob picked up a large batch of willow prior to the big reveal! Then doing a woodworm job to keep the new bosses happy!  :D - we should let him know that Kohli is all out of sandpaper though!

No one wants facts getting in the way of excuses for needing new kit.

Videos going around of Babar at the CA factory, doesn’t look overly enthusiastic with the bats. He also rocked up with one of his GN Ventus bats in tow.

He probably just brought it to copy , Might take a little while to get the bat he wants right, seemed like some guns in the video . CA bats are guns

Think its easier to use an existing bat as a reference point, so any tweaks are easier to explain.

PS Another video Pakistan Female International showing the CA factory start about 6:02. Its in urdu but really shows the scale of the CA factory. I never realised how big the CA factory is, I know MB Malik has multiple sites.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOCJgYvjiks\

Manufacturing clothing, pads, gloves, tennis balls and even bat grips inhouse. Pretty impressive. Not many other brands in Pakistan come anywhere near.
