unless we change it to money no object
Money no obstacle and money no object very similar?
Plus despite the fact that John Newbery must be the greatest bat maker ever his bats would not be as good as Tim's today with the improvement in willow conditioning and pressing.
We must go forward!!!
.....and I'd still plump for a John Newbery original bat made by the man himself that is a piece of history I'd love to have/own, infact you could probably get me one

It is bats I cant get hold of that are more desirable to me. I could, if I asked nicely, get one from Tim Keeley and buy a screaming cat from Julian Millichamp, I respect & admire those guys immensely, but can you get hold of John Newbery original easily, nope, unless money wasn't an obstacle
You couldn't use one
Not sure what you mean by "couldn't use one", unless you meant my very individual batting style
