Should I rephrase then? In which case it is the 2nd best bat I have had, next to my Salix Pod 1. It doesnt feel as nice in the hands to me as my Kook Blade or Salix, however I find it plays better than it, or any Newbery/GM that I have tried so far this season.

hi.. same happened to me.. i asked for about 2'8-2'9 bat... all i got is a very heavy bat (didnt measure it though, but i think around 2'12-2'13).. a very nice looking bat, and can perform very good, but my wrist hurt after 2-3 overs.. already sent for weight reduction, and hopefully everything going fine.. btw, i'm from malaysia, so it took me some time to return the bat (as the postage cost quite high).. hopefully roger will cover the return-back-to-malaysia cost.. ..

I think thats well out of order, sending a much haevier bat than asked for. If that was me i'd be well p*ssed off!

When I had mine there was 3 bats left out and I just picked the one I wanted out if them as I went to pick it up but heard alot of people getting sent heavier bats than asked for

This arrived today 




asked for 2.12 max with thick edges got 2.11.5
pings well with the mallet and I like the pick up. It has 11 straight grains but does have a horizontal mark near the bottom of the bat. Will get this knocked in and report back but at the moment seems very good value for money .

This is the bat he sent me two weeks ago which I sent back to him because it was far to heavy to use!!
He then sent me back another bat which was still heavy!!
It is a great piece of wood though goes really well off the mallet.
I took it to Rob Pack and used his scales and it weighed in at 2.13 so I think its a bit heavier than you think mate.
If you can handle that weight though it will go really well, it's such a nice piece of wood.

Would use roger again though it does seem as someone commented earlier that he's a one shape maker, who makes excellent but heavy bats

in therory though most big bats make the ball go further...

i had one and in terms of quality and finish and craftmanship i thought it was very poor

in terms of rebound quality it was very good though(suppose this is the main thing)

once again was not a lightweight bat and if i asked for a 2lb 8oz i would not accept anything heavier and not a chance of it being 2oz heavier i would have it rapped up and back to him pronto

for a experianced batmaker he should not be doing this

I agree! I am not sure if Roger does this intentionally or not. Imagine if someone buys a bat off Rogers in North America where it costs 25 Pounds to send a bat back and forth then in order to get weight problem sorted out he would go bankrupt!

If I remember correctly one guy on the forum as for 2.8 and he recieved 2.11! I believe Roger needs a new weight scale..

I hope you knocked it in to save me some time 
 I have weighed it again on another set of (kitchen  ) scales and it comes in under 2.12 so maybe it has had some weight removed from the back.
