What colour/style/design helmet to get!
« on: September 26, 2010, 05:27:03 PM »

Alright lads!

After looking through the ayrtek topics for a couple of days now I have decided that im going to get one at around Christmas time. However im not sure which one to get. I think ill get the top of the range which is the Asis Elite? also with a ti grill. I like the black ones and also the colour that they are when they havnt been sprayed (silvery black colour). However i play for Warwickshire and my club for next year play in a light blue. so i would like to get either a black one to stand out or a dark blue with a bit of light blue in to go with club colours. What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance

The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.

But having a Warwickshire badge on your helmet when playing club cricket makes you look like a 'wannabe' pro. lol

Whatever floats your boat. But you will get a lot of stick for it off the other side.

I know if i had a Warwickshire badge on my lid and had to cover it up with tape id get a lot of stick at my club.

What would the helmet cost for the custom colour and initials? Tom said hed to the ti grill free as a sponsorship so i dont need to pay for that.
