1. aero p2 - 320g
2. morrant int. - 327g
3. aswani zero g - 450g
4. puma extreme 4000 - 495g
5. BAS Bow 20/20 - 525g

tempted to remove the puma's as I don't think you can buy them anymore. Do I put the BDM at 483g, would you wear them without the insert?

Interesting that the moulded pads weigh in at about the same as the Modern style hunts....

There is no way that the Morrants weigh 397 grams.

They weigh in at 520 grams. The only way you can get them lighter than that is to remove all inserts, thus making them unwearable.

GM RSBs weigh in at 523 grams.

I have the large mens ones which read 500grams, wouldn't have thought a size down would take that much off..

Looking at the light shining through the pads, is the inside pad attached?

It won't be, as the inner thing is quite weighty because of what it's made of. And no way would you wear them without the lining.

Can someone weigh the chase r11 pads? I would love to get a pair but want to compare them with my GN pads.

They will weigh a fair bit, 700+. I personally never notice the weight of pads no matter what I wear, it doesn't bother me. Batting in Aero P2's or Kookaburra Cane pads I still play the same.

I am sceptical about the Aswani zero g pads being 450 too.

They are the EXACT same pads as the Morrant's Super Ultralite moulded pads:

http://www.aswanicricket.co.uk/ekmps/shops/aswanicricket/images/aswani-cricket-zero-g-junior-batting-pads-2364-p.jpg

As the pictures prove, they are identical pads with different decals.

I own the Morrant variety and they weigh in at around 600grams.

How can the Aswani ones be 150 grams lighter?
