A couple of guys at my club have woodstock bats and they're some of the best bats ive seen, the ball just seemed to keep racing to the boundary!

Our skipper has one, it is massive for the weight of the pick up. They look quite nice as well, just a bit expensive for me.

A guy at my club played kent 2's against surrey 2's in a t20 the other week and smashed spriegal for 6. He called him a village cricketer so he launched him for 2 more consecutive 6's and said "what does that make you then mate". Safe to say he wasnt happy!

I believe that Mike mentioned that the brand owner is not a batmaker, however, i'd be very surprised if a certain Mr Keeley wasn't involved in the batmaking somewhere!

Well the quality is very good apparently so despite their origins if they're cheaper surely they'd be just as good an option...
The fact that some county players (at least one, even though he is useless) use them indicates their quality.

No James Thompson. Billings is playing in the t20's though

well not quite right but it is certainly the case, as you know, that TK produces bats for quite a few brands in the UK. I anticipate you will now ask for a list, or proof in an attempt to rubbish my point but as you know, we cannot name names.

The guy who owns Woodstock used to be the Newbery Rep for many years and has gone on to set up Woodstock.
There are a few floating around our league in Sussex and to be fair the softs and the bats loook very good. The bats in particular

I think he said that he had access to a c and s? machine, so although not a batmaker as such does apparently have imput into the making process.

I would guess he has pretty good connections with the Keeleys though

Au Contraire JP , why not list the brands that do not use the services from the above mentioned ?

Steel Couch - it is a CNC machine - and Tim Keeley and Gunn and Moore both use them for making bats.

Lekka - I think most brands like their source of bat making kept a secret and where possible this is maintained on this forum. Please, on that basis will you stop digging for information that I suspect you already know
