Yes - the last gloves I bought were their Airstream gloves, in 2015 - £50. Last year I think they were £60. The new version - £80!

This links to a post I made about Online stockist and why people would be tempted to look overseas and buy SS gloves basically the same as what I currently have for about half the price, inc. shipping and duty etc.

Sound a little bit like the big pizza chains. Never pay full price, always a discount code going round. Usual prices there just to take a bit extra from those who don't want/need to look around.

The guy that makes the bats or did John sold Woodstock last year to a group of investors, no idea if he still
Makes the bats as I’ll lead to believe he sold it due to retirement.

May explain the new “business model” like pizza places etc to make the product seem a better deal, a lad at our club was “sponsored a few years back” softs were very good for the money them bats were ok but nothing amazing, a few other lads bought some silver models for not much money through his Sponsorship discount and both were concaved planks but I think one started to get a bit better towards the end of last years season after him
Owning of for 18months or so lol.

They don’t own a press.

Seemingly John shapes for them still if you browse their Instagram.

Hi All.

John still makes for them. The sales etc have become a bit less frequent and in general will be only a couple of times a year (Black Friday being one I believe). You can see on their website who is now involved with the business etc. We have just started stocking them after having discussions with Johnno about the above.

Yes from what I believe he bought a house over the road like literally 10yrds from the entrance to my club and told the guy he bought it from that he was a bat maker and planned to make bats ( could be hard for me at my own club now mind lol) I haven’t met him yet or even know if he has actually moved in yet but will be great to have a experienced bat maker that close if he is willing to share and help maybe at some point.
