To be honest for that kind of price I would be expecting flawless and they arent

Could you define 'flaw' then?

As in evenly spaced grains, grains running directly down the bat, all the wood the same colour? Just my personal point of view if I was spending £300+ thats what I would expect.

They are better looking than the gray-nicholls I am using at the moment but then again that only cost £130 and looks arent everything.

On another note where do you play prowannabe88?

Yeah I suppose it depends whether you value looks or performance. I imagine these are graded on performance first, and then looks. I agree they are not perfect visually, but one of them especially isn't wildly far from it. By those definitions, the only bat I have seen for about 5 years that is 'flawless' is rather famous on this forum, and these days would cost a grand to have made.

It is all relative, and after all, willow is natural, so straight lines and even gaps will be rare, because that isn't how nature works.

These are not perfect, but they are about as close to it as I've seen for a while.

No, those were all I got and I already feel cheeky enough for asking once.

I would of thought the top 1 percent of willow would be looks and performance. Think talismans oblivion looked better visually.

It looked similar to the 1st and 3rd bat, not massive but perfectly balanced and picked up well.

Sorted for 2011 season. Wouldn't buy from Globe sports as they are probably the dearest shop in the country. May pop in tho and have a gander. Doubt globe are selling it at £300.
