I think Trott is outstanding and a real old fashioned dog fighter and what a cracking start to test cricket he is having, He is our answer to India's Dravid.

Ricky Ponting Sir you have been a cracking cricketer, captain and for all your grumpyness i still like your interviews always honest and you have been a credit to convict cricket, but your time has come and yesterday was the unravling of your tenor as captain and leader.

I think England are good but to be honest we still do not know how good because Australia are poor very poor..

Ponting has only recieved a pathetic 40% match fee fine this just opens the door for more players to confront umpires in this way as what is that fine to an international player

hmmm - I can see your point but Trott doesn't quite have the class - more of a mini-Kallis, methinks

Sorry bud but it maybe only a start but nobody can question Trott's class at all..

And i suspect your not trying to tell me Dravid is a better batsman than Kallis are you.....

Good fish but although i do not like Kallis for some strange reason there no doubting he is up there with Tendulkar both in terms of his stats and his actual prominance of his side

Even if Trott gets 3898785425 runs in his test career he'll never be regarded as a great because he has not flare about him. Think of Warne, Richards, Holding, Botham, Flintoff, Tendulkar. All these players have something about them as well as an abundance of talent.

I'm not denying Trott's class, I just think that Dravid is a special, special player, who, unlike Kallis, has done it on all wickets against all teams in all parts of the world. This is splitting hairs, Kallis & Dravid both ahead of Trott for longevity and having had the advantage of making debuts young.
