he is playing some very nice strokes isnt he yash, liked the one off anderson down the ground

That was a gorgeous shot. Would rate it better than KP's (almost) rules straight off-drive.

He sure does. Still could give most intl teams/batsmen a scare.

Apparently, Warnie has been keeping his fingres in shape playing porker (spinning the chip between his fingures).....

Cashing in the money too, 888 poker advert pops up time to time.

Haddin is playing some amazing shots/drives. Good example for the failed top order bats to see and learn.

Would Haddin get a 100?

Maybe playing for his test match future here ? this innings could be incredibly important  :)

What a shot for 6. Effortless. Made it look so easy on this big-big ground

Yeah cracking shot for 6 there, I think he's looking in great touch, proving to the other Ausie batsmen that this pitch is a good one! :)

No way they'll drop Haddin, he's been one of the few bright points and there's no obvious replacement.

New Ball should wrap it up...

Tim Paine , maybe Australian cricket board will finally wake up and realise that they have to get the young and upcoming players in there ?

better to get Paine in there from a young age and have a good 10 years as keep rather then keeping with the old man ?

I never knew Haddin was 33 until yesterday...I think Paine should come in, I hear he's a better keeper. Keep Haddin in as a specialist batsman, possibly Hussey as captain and opening with Watson, with Khawaja 3 and Clarke 4, Haddin 5 and Cameron White 6, with Paine at 7. I think wholesale change is needed if I'm being honest with you...

I don't think panicing and throwing in a whole team of youngsters is the solution.

I think they probably want to get a couple in (if they have shown the potential), but I'd be worries (if I was an aussies anyway) if there were more than 2-3 changes.

The main concern is who'll be skipper when Ponting chucks it, as I presume he will.

Lots of people have suggested that certain individuals in that team are past it. I think this is a long-term solution that will pay off in time, take the example of Surrey over here. Which other country had a 22yo Captain...?
