Why do all these batmakers leave their tools in shot all the time, do they have something to hide. Norb, do you have a big robot shaping your bat in the background and 10 bikini clad beauties sanding them further down the line???

I would say the bat weighed in the region of 2lbs7-8oz. The cleft is of low density, thus having large edges in the vicinity of 35+mm I'd imagine. The bat doesn't really have a profile, seems all edge to me. Lovely grains though. The reason for this bat being of a light weight could be from the fact that the cleft had been air dried for a longer period of time? Possibly 20-24 months? As I know Laver doesn't kiln dry his clefts!!

I would want to know what size the bat was and the exact measurements, as I think its just a clever photo.
