the aviation industry use the clear polyurethane sheets and these are generally the best you can get if you want it to be both see-through and easy to apply.
From what i have seen, the hammer edge sheets offer a little more protection to the blade but i hate putting them on and i dont think they look as good.
Readers and other companies do a really poor anti-scuff sheet that is brittle and offers no protection - not worth the money!
I use anti-scuff's on all of my bats, change them at the end of the season when they get a refurb..............but at £8 a pop it seems to be a bit of a luxury! (By the way, i think you can probably get them cheaper than £8)
