England team:1 Andrew Strauss (capt), 2 Matt Prior (wk), 3 Jonathan Trott, 4 Ian Bell, 5 Eoin Morgan, 6 Ravi Bopara, 7 Paul Collingwood, 8 Tim Bresnan, 9 Graeme Swann, 10 Ajmal Shahzad, 11 James Anderson.

Prior to open & Colly gets another shot.  Lots of batting but not enough bowling?

good to see Eoin back. agree with you on the bowling, should have played tredwell today. but i think this is going to be the balance from now on, 7-4

Hmm I dunno, I agree with the commentators with the reason they only played one spinner was that Bangladesh are better at playing spin rather than seam bowling.

because we have collingwood with his cutters and shahzooom with his reverse swing apparently

the real reason is that there isn't anyone good enough in the squad (I hope Monty is enjoying his pre season training... arggg)

Bangladesh have 6-7 left handers, surely the Tredmiester had to play?

Rashid isn't good enough as a spinner to play solely in that role, he is very talented, but doesn't have the control and variation yet - my sources have suggested that this WC has come a little too early for him and that they don't want him ruined on these dead tracks.
I was expecting Treadwell to play today, I have to admit

(No Swearing Please)! every game we seem to be the cause of our own problems, either bowling poorly of batting poorly....lets just hope its gettin it out of the way to come into form if we win today!
