Solitaire...i dont mind the heavy weight and i will get the same performance as any of the above....graphics and looks mean nothing as you let the runs do the talking and not the look of the bat

The most obvious would be screaming cat as its most expensive ;) ?

Not saying most expenisve is the best , but it would be obvious choice ! :L ( if money wasn't an issue off course)

Icon for me.  I have seen their operation in the flesh, have met their people.  I like the brand, and most of the GMs I have seen of late have looked, felt and played great.

I'll go for GM Icon Original L.E having a soft spot for GM and their products. I've used an Icon before so know what they feel like whereas the other one's I've not picked up the others (GN Legend an exception, although I did not like it too much). I know GM are good with replacing bats should anything justifiable go wrong with the bat during the season and every GM I've used has performed well.

Anything else?

Laver Reserve

Laver presses his bats as good as anybody and he has made me 1 top top class bat which has performed well Good customer services and never too much trouble..

I had a SCat it was good but nothing special and it was brand new from GCCC and in truth i find his profiles boring and a little dated and customer service is not in line with Laver

Millichamp Well i think there pressed at the same place as many others and for the money not worth it never owned one and not likely too i just have no real feel for them strange one

Gray Nicholls...About 10 years ago had a top of the range millennium saved for 5 months to buy it bought it and it was crap..

Mongoose ..I have thought about it but after i hit with them does not suit my style at all.

Salix...Same as Millichamp do not like the profiles but they can finish a very good bat...

Solitaire..Had one went well but do you think they could make me a 2lb 7oz one..........

Gunn and Moore..Not keen since my Diamond Original snapped after saving for one after seeing Hadlee use one and.

I do not like being kept waiting either and do not like faceless big companys

Personal preference but there you go...

Edward has practically talked me into getting a GM and Icon would be my bat of choice.

Although being a long time M&H fan, I would love to try the SCAT, just to see if they are all they are cracked up to be

Out of that list I would choose the Solitaire. For the price of them they are well worth the money and as I live close to them I can go and get a weight reduction on the bat for free (as they did for my solitaire) if needed.

There's noway I could afford to pay £400+ for a cricket bat and paying £100 for a cricket bat will mean that I will use it for its purpose and not be worried about using it in case it breaks and wastes my money.

Solitaire because I don't mind the weight being heavier as long as it still picks up well, its a cracking price for G1 willow, its affordable and I'm quite taken by the pink stickers

Salitaire, no way I'd pay anything like 300 for a cricket bat.

EDIT-Solitaire, not Saltire, must be missing scotland!
