If the right side is dominant you should use this as the top hand batting and bat "left handed".

So here's the question, if you are right hand, right eye dominant, what should you do?

My old man plays golf with a mixed set of r/h and l/h clubs as when he started playing years ago he bought 2nd hand clubs one by one and for some reason bought both right and left handed until he had a full set.
With regards to cricket he bats/throws left handed and bowls right handed.
He also writes right handed.

I would say given Buzz's advice elsewhere that you should have your head level when batting so still bat "left handed".

No - right eye dominant would mean you bat right handed, in my view - but Kieron (Bulldog) is right eye dominant and bats well left handed, I hear, so the likelihood is that you should go with what is comfortable.

In my case I am left handed - and play tennis/squash left handed, but bat right handed, so have the control of my left hand at the top - I am also right eye dominant and that may cloud my theory that you should have your outside eye as your leading eye.

My theory is that it is easier to keep your eyes level if your outside eye is the dominant one. I have never done a survey of it though... perhaps I will do one here... keep your eyes peeled!!

One of the lads I coach throws overarm with his left hand (he's a left arm spinner), but underarms with his right hand.  And has always done so.

same as buzz i left handed in everything i do bat batting and right eyed dominant

I find it causes me slight problems with balls going across me early on

I bat right handed but play golf left handed. If i try and play golf right-handed or bat left-handed it just feels un-natural.

There are plent of examples of bat one way bowl/throw with the other - Michael Clarke, Mike Hussey, Junnaid Siddique, Stuart Broad, James Anderson, James Tredwell, Eoin Morgan....

Going back a few years think of Graham Thorpe and Brian Lara.

apparently all the top golfers that play right handed are left hand dominant and visa versa, there's also a correllation between double handed sports and single handed sports, but we'll leave that one alone

That's just nuts you should bat which ever way you feel confident but granted both my kids bat left but eldest is a lefty anyway

I've noticed this, at all the clubs I've been at, I reckon I've only seen one other apart from me that do it.
