Rule 6 - Away team gets first shot at tea, really peeves me off when the home team dive in first

Again, what?! It's an unwritten rule up our way, the away team always goes first!

Always freaked me out that in cricket you have to buy a jug for performing when surely others should buy you a drink for doing well

In Lancashire you get a collection when you score a 50 or take 5 wickets i hate them buggers running out with the doe and no beers bought

Do you not have home and away tables best way to avoid imbarresment when your fat number 11 eats all the jaffas

3) If you score a 50 or more or take 5 wickets you buy a jug. NO EXCUSES i dont care if you are 15 or have to shoot off straight after the game

Under 18s don't have to buy jugs at our club. I like this rule as I would have had to buy 14 :)

Know its summer when;

The mozzies come out in force
Look into the cricket bag in the garage to find a mouse nest
When you think, ''its 6.30pm, give it a month and i will still be outside chasing leather''
when you find out who the new additions to your club are

You know it's the cricket season when you have just had the worst net of the winter.

My dad buys my jug for me! One of only a few benefits of having your dad in the same team!

Apparently I have to buy them all when I'm 18. Will it happen? Not much chance :D

Always freaked me out that in cricket you have to buy a jug for performing when surely others should buy you a drink for doing well

Our team 'Jug' policy:

Home Games:

1. You must buy a jug if you hit 50 or take 5 wickets, regardless of anything.
2. You must buy 2 jugs if you hit 100.
3. Jug avoidance is not acceptable, therefore getting out between 45-50 or taking 4 wickets, is a jug.
4. If anyone hits over 140, it results in 3 jugs, plus another jug for jug avoidance (Not hitting 150).

Away Games:

Same rules apply, just replace jug with 'Crate' for the minibus!

Some poor lad hit 141* away from home, expensive trip to tesco after the game........!
