Always freaked me out that in cricket you have to buy a jug for performing when surely others should buy you a drink for doing well
Our team 'Jug' policy:
Home Games:
1. You must buy a jug if you hit 50 or take 5 wickets, regardless of anything.
2. You must buy 2 jugs if you hit 100.
3. Jug avoidance is not acceptable, therefore getting out between 45-50 or taking 4 wickets, is a jug.
4. If anyone hits over 140, it results in 3 jugs, plus another jug for jug avoidance (Not hitting 150).
Away Games:
Same rules apply, just replace jug with 'Crate' for the minibus!
Some poor lad hit 141* away from home, expensive trip to tesco after the game........!
