Johan if Eastcote 1's are at home you will get all the leftovers from the prem league tea which is great!

Haha I love how you know that though mate ;)
I'd assume the 2s are the only team at home surely. Cause our 1s and 2s rotate, however perhaps it is different with the PL clubs...I'll look on the fixture list.. :)

EDIT: Sadly, they're not at home :(

Teas are still excellent at Eastcote mate.  Have played a few friendlies there.  Beautiful ground, decent deck, excellent teas.

Good good, at least I know if I get out cheaply I've got tea to look forward to! 8)
Boundaries straight looked fairly short on what I think was the main pitch when I looked on Google Maps though? ???
We've all heard it's a beautiful ground though, so should be good :)
Got a midweek game today against Wembley, looking forward to it :D

They're not all that short.  Plenty of space for timed back foot 6's ;)

Ahh right. They just looked short but it must have been my eyes playing tricks on me.
Well, you never know. Don't think the bowling will be as slow and (No Swearing Please) to allow me enough time to play that shot easily though... ??? ;)

F**k! Someones in form!

im the coach of the team.

Keep batting simple, a lot of people complicate it and they play too many shots.

Im hoping to become a proper qualified coach and get the level 3 coaching badge eventually. Im 32 now so getting on a bit!

Great batting Ian

In the 1sts the issue for batsmen moving up is that it usually isnt as easy to score runs as you dont get as many loose balls and batsmen start to get uptight because they are used to scoring a lit more freely.

I would try to work on getting your singles off good/straight balls

It will become easier and you will be able to relax more

50% of batting is in the mind

2008 I played a few games international standard 20/20 v west indies xi and then Trinidad. Got injured needed an operation on my wrist and then relocated. Now playing as coach of a newly formed team in b division, won every game. Shouldn't be playing in the league but the idea is to get promoted and then we find our level. 1st league Level is county feeder league standard. Really love the batting coaching ..... Can't bowl at all though and dint know how to!!! Think in 20 years I've bowled about 12 balls in the nets. I used to keep wicket.
