Oh absolutely!! Young players need to learn but I was just interested that he be given it in a saturday league game, especially as it seemed to backfire and lose the game!

This was a Sunday Game nick...

Haha good excuse ;)

I joke, we've all been there :)

One of those things really, I would like to end on 1000 season runs, but I said I wouldn't bat. Silly in retrospect, but I did it to help the lad out.

Him and the oppo skipper (also very young - about 18/19) were ridiculously quiet in the field though... ???

It's definitely a learning experience and having done last month I quite enjoy it, especially when keeping as I see all of the game :)

Personally I didn't have the worst of days, but our club is so frustrating!

Byo batted well today against my team. Luckily he didn't bowl after yesterday's performance.

Thanks Colesy - career best bowling on sunday and 60 yesterday.  Can see why you are frustrated with your club mate - reckon you should back yourself more and move on to a better standard!!!

Played in a charity 6 a side comp yesterday. 5 overs per team, retire at 25, every fielder bowls.
Game 1 - 30* off 7 balls
Game 2 - 26* off 8 balls
Game 3 - 28* off 5 balls
Final -    26* off 10 balls

Last game of my season as fellow player gets married Saturday and 1st team loses about 6 players.
