We played wednesday, and thursday and lost both games, wednesday we lost on the last ball, bunch of moaning, cheats, and calling in all the shots to beat us. Thursday was just a 20/20 for my staff at school, slapped a massive 6 and lost again in the last over. Opened the bowling both games and bowled averagely, got no wickets but didn't go for many runs so

Haha good work! We played Illminster in the cup last year and they beat us! And its a cup game on Sunday, at our place... I'll look out for those guys, cheers for the heads up!

Might be slightly different then although taking a look at the play.cricket website will show you what sort of season they're having.

Qualified for the playoffs of the Headingley T20. Beat a team 4 divisions higher with an overseas. We got 250-3 in 20 overs. Our third wicket put 220 on in 15 overs with Simmy getting a cheeky 86 in 55 balls. The other lad Kammy, I'm told, made him look slow with 137* in 52 balls, including 13 sixes. The oppo didn't do too bad with 194-6 in 20 overs, the overseas scoring 90 odd for them.

Lost the semi failed to chase 160, ended up on 138 with 3 overs to go :-(

Won our Cup game tonight at tiny ledsham. Ideal for six hitting until you looked at the deck, green wet soft. Result 88 ao v 71-9 off 20 overs, big hitting cricket at it's finest!

Worst track I have seen in my LIFE!! You can't call it wet as it wasn't really that soggy, softer than a sponge cake though and mire grass than my back garden!! May as well just put some stumps on a cow field and played there

Had our last game of season yesterday, won comfortably again, posted 177 on a sodden track with moss growing on and snails hiding on, bowled them out for 95, was rather boring game. Reckon we come 2nd in the league behind a team of cheats in which they have won the league every year but often lose 3/4 games

Bit harsh considering you played no shot to an off spinner and watched it hit your off peg :-) Did I mention I got 23* on this minefield, seemed ok when I was caressing the ball through extra cover for 4 :-)

Still think batsman get it easy now, when I started these decks were pretty common!

Haha that was a very bad leave on my part. Caressing the ball where nick... To the edge of the track ;) haha "oh my god one has popped, get me my Helmet" hehe love ya really pal. Honestly that's the worst track I have ever seen, played on, bowled on etc. Someone will get Hurt badly on there one day.

since the boundary was only 20 yards away I suppose it wasn't far lol! It was only after the second one popped and manton was busy throwing his arm around did I think about protecting my teeth :-)

It was a strange passage of play. I suggest you play with the spin and get inside it on such a slow deck, you then take leg stick guard instead of middle and then leave it, almost like you couldn't reach it. What I thought you would do is take off-stump and look to get outside off and hit with the turn through leg. Very odd.

Nah, I wanted to try and expose that tiny boundary and maybe I over compensated a little. Still, (No Swearing Please) track, (No Swearing Please) bowling boot a good result. Those usually end up being one way, and the home team who should know how to bat on the track knock it off in no time and make us cricketers look (No Swearing Please) lol

We've had an awesome season in midweek, won the league, in the final which we've won 2 years in a row so far. Think we've won 2 in 2 with the league as well. I love 16 8-ball overs, for some reason I go for less than at weekends in a comparative amount of overs...
