I picked this up off Gumtree for a massive £15 on collection. As far as I can tell, going on the solid bars on the stickers, it's a late eighties version of the Dynadrive in what I can only describe as amazing nick. It weighs in at 2lb 8oz and appears to have had very little use. The grip, although perished, is the original. I think I'll leave the pictures to speak for themselves...

And it's even complete with the Velour bat cover!

Lovely!

As I'm on a roll with the photobucket malarkey I thought I'd share this, v100 5 star. Lovely straight grains, hardly used, picked it up off eBay some time ago for 99p.

Recently acquired my first Fearnley of eBay for all of a fiver plus postage. It is a Magnum, in half decent nick, however the handle has been wrapped with electrical tape in lieu of a rubber and the toe appears to have never been oiled and may have got slightly wet. It's not the finest willow, probably 8 straight grains and has a thick old scuff sheet. It weighs in at a monstrous 2'8.

I'm not sure of the generation of the stickers, however it is an authentic Magnum shape. I got a cricket ball out and it still pinged magnificently. So much so I had to careful of the ceiling lights!

Here are a few pictures of a very cheap and very usable old cricket bat. I can see myself asking B3 to make an LB copy of this at some point.

I have an original GN100 (before they were branded as "Scoop") - pristine condition and with the original black rubber grip undamaged (must be 35+ years old). Never touched a cricket ball - beautiful looking bat and almost as good as new

I love those grips, I wonder why they aren't made anymore?

Beautiful bat, love it. GN100 was the first GN I had ever picked up.

Simple and classy stickers, wonder why GN changed these to the current type!!! Probably to prevent people pulling them off and fixing on third party bats?

Because textured / chevron / octopus grips were felt to give more grip. And retailers loved these new grips as they wore out batting gloves faster.

That might have to wait a bit. Will need the missus to be away for a while so I can go into the loft and get them all out...
